Teaching with Heart: Cultivating Mindful Self-Compassion in Education
When
Asia/Singapore
Event Tag
To effectively teach mindfulness in the classroom, requires educators to develop a formal meditation practice, as well as to informally practice throughout the day. This six-hour workshop offers an opportunity for educators to cultivate mindful self-compassion, a practice that enhances adult social and emotional learning skills of self-awareness, relational awareness, and relationship skills. Participants will learn the principles of mindfulness and self-compassion, as well as explore how these practices can transform their approach to education. At the close of the course, participants will have practical tools and strategies to integrate mindful self-compassion into their daily lives and educational practice, promoting their own well-being and creating a supportive climate for their students. Join this transformative experience and discover how nurturing your own mind and heart can enhance your effectiveness as an educator.
