This course introduces participants to the fundamentals of wellness and gives them an opportunity to reflect on the balance across wellness domains in their life. It also introduces the elements of mindfulness as a tool to reduce stress in an individual’s life and in the caretaking relationship between educators and students. Trauma informed mindful sitting, movement, and walking practices are introduced that can be used in individual practice or in group practice in schools.
