Research has shown that children benefit tremendously in different ways from all forms of play across the continuum. Quality guided play experiences lead to the most significant learning and developmental outcomes for children. The workshop is a two-part series designed to increase participants’ knowledge, skill and confidence in using guided play experiences to significantly increase learning and developmental outcomes for children.
Objectives

Methodology
This workshop will offer varieties of opportunities for experiential and collaborative learning. Participants will have the opportunity and are expected to be active participants in the discussion, both within the small and large group formats; reflecting on their own journey and learning in a supportive environment that allow them to gain practical knowledge that can be applied to teaching practices.

Early years teachers, curriculum coordinator, parent educator and administrators of program for children aged 0 to 8 years.
